CPC Mississauga -Inland Sponsorship
I applied under Spousal Category for Permanent Residence within CANADA in Feb 2015-

April 20 2016- Received Approval In Principle, Medical and Right of Residence fee paid and done at the same time April 2016
Medical Results are passed as well
After that Haven't heard from CIC at all, does anyone have same issue or case ?

Have you tried to call CIC? what do they say? Your timeline is getting close to 26 months, they should give some details

I did try to call them many times but they still said it is under normal processing times. I have now seen Processing times go from 24 months to now 26 months. Technically the time frame when I applied for this category was 24 months which is already over.

Have you ordered your notes to see why there is the delay or to make sure they aren't waiting for something? Did you get any requests after AIP? Do you have dependents?

You are very patient! I reached 18 months recently, still no SA no AIP, but met my MP twice to try to make our application move.

Very patient indeed! I'm 20 months in waiting now and am about to lose my mind.

I already applied for Access to Information for my File # by paying $5. But for them to process that it is 32 days which are not passed yet

Trust me I have tried everything- Contacted PM or MP as well as web form. But they turn a deaf Year. They are only here for REFUGEES right now.

I already have lost it completely. It has been entire 24 months- 2 YEARS . No information given from them

That is long but not unusual.
I highly suggest that you call CIC and seriously give your self a decent hour of waiting. and make sure you prepare your questions on paper. you Client ID #, your information it will make the phone call alot easier. I used to know friends who worked at CIC call center. They told me these things matter alot to them if someone is prepared instead of asking random questions.

I usually ask just one question: the status of my application. what other questions?

Yes. I am always to the point. I always have list of questions ready to ask when agent is available. My questions are relevant as well as to the point for my application. But the harsh truth is CIC Agents have so far given only 1 answer "Your application is under normal processing time frame and they are doing background checks and security. It is funny because they have been doing unnecessary background check since past 10 months now. as my AIP and medical was done more than 10 months ago.
