Yes. I am always to the point. I always have list of questions ready to ask when agent is available. My questions are relevant as well as to the point for my application. But the harsh truth is CIC Agents have so far given only 1 answer "Your application is under normal processing time frame and they are doing background checks and security. It is funny because they have been doing unnecessary background check since past 10 months now. as my AIP and medical was done more than 10 months ago.

I usually call on Tuesday-Thursday at around 2-3pm local time, 30 minutes waiting but I always get through to an agent.
I know, their answer about normal processing time is killing me. In my case they can't decide whether the relationship is genuine (we submitted so much additional proof in October, and still nothing. I'm so ready for an interview, anything but I want to see a progress in the application. Waiting is the worst

My issue is simple. When I applied the processing times were 24 Months, it clearly said that you medical and background checks only take 8 Months for final decision. Now it has been 24 months completed and 25th Going on but still there is no answer. I am worried if CPC Mississauga even has any integrity themselves on this. It looks like a big scam if they cannot come to final decision even after this much time.

I sincerely hope you'll get the great news very soon! This is totally unfair that your case is not processed after so much time. The 26 months they say... we all know that this is fake. The current processing time should be 14-15 months according to spreadsheets. Even on the official statistics released on open.canada in September 2016, the processing time was 23 months. This is obviously shorter now, but they keep saying 26 months.

Absolutely agree. It's so not fair to wait for so long.
I wonder why it takes such a long time.
