Vancouver, Halifax and Etobicoke. Those VOs are just too dramatic. This thread is getting silent since most people from CIO and Ottawa are getting approved in order while most of the cursed people had no idea what's happening. Do you remember one person in this thread before that got approved for the Halifax and Etobicoke combo? And I remember there was one with AOR August 2020 that got approved with Vancouver and Etobicoke combo. There is some unreliable hope but we all know IRCC can do nothing or anything.

Yeah it is but what to say we all are still crying. Canada should be ranked in most worst, racist, discriminatory, unorganized, non-welcoming country. It’s Such a shame that even PM of the country cannot see immigrants struggling, however, he is busy in inviting more immigrants/refugees from other countries while dumping inland. On top it, we are not important at all does not matter if we are stuck for 1, 2 or x y years but Canada’s focus is to get more immigrants from Afghanistan as they are in really bad situation. And we all are fools who are waiting to get our PR after spending so many years in Canada while studying, working, paying taxes, worrying every second, didn’t meet our families in years. If Afghanistan is so important then PM should have gone there and should have postponed the elections like IRCC stopped answering to many of us because we not the priority or in any trouble.
Other than what I mentioned in my previous post, just to update you that I didn’t get my BOWP yet, applied in July but nothing so far. I cannot get fully vaccinated, cannot travel back home, cannot invite my family as I am now under implied status. Thank u Canada specially IRCC.
I think the processing time for BOWP is several months. But I had to travel to the US and so I contacted IRCC through the web form asking for it to be expedited and it was processed just a few days later. So if you have an urgent need I would go down this route. They also approved SOWP at the same time since my wife was going to travel with me.

For me whatever happening in my life I want it to be sorted on an urgent basis but it’s me who thinks that way and not IRCC for example I want to invite my family as I didn’t meet them from last 4-5 years but it’s not an urgent situation for IRCC so don’t know what to do. Last time I got my BOWP in 7-8 weeks but this time IRCC is not in a mood to work
Yes I remember those 2 people. I also believe @sandhu5555 got approved from Halifax after Etobicoke but this person just disappeared from here never updating anything.
That is absolutely ridiculous what is happening to us.
Such a shame that Canadian PM is promising to invite immigrants whereas IRCC doesn’t even work systematically

are you from Ontario? Or do you know if there is any protest or something going on at Etobicoke. I hard something was going on in BC but don’t have complete details so not sure about it
Is it worth withdrawing PNP application and then reapplying as CEC? I have seen a few people in other threads here who had a paper based application and reapplied thru express entry CEC class ( and have received COPR within 6 months). My question is can I reapply as CEC while my previous application (applied via PNP) is still being processed? Any one here who has done that or is planning to do so?
