I'm a bit confused here. Let me tell you a little about my situation.
My bf and I have been in a relationship since August 2010. We're eligible to
Apply for my pr next month. I'm currently on a work visa which expires in February 2013.
Now can we apply Outland even if I'm actually in Canada already, but have a legal physical address in my home country?

That's great news I'm glad to hear that! Thank you :)

Outland via London is definitely the way to go. You could be done in about 6-8 months, including time at CPC-M for your boyfriend to be approved to sponsor you, as opposed to 11-12 months for first stage approval via Inland processing.

Wow that's almost frustrating how long a time that is! So all in all even if I'm in Canada now we just send our application away to London and let them deal with it? It looks Tito be quite a task to fill out the paperwork! How about a docs request? Shall I start look for one already and get that done? :)

Actually, you're pretty fortunate, lots of folks will wait much longer than that. For some perspective, it took us 14 months, and we have been apart for most of it. Count your blessings, 6-8 months while you live with your spouse is nothing in the scheme of Immigration things.

The paperwork is sent to the office at Mississauga, they will pass it to London when your sponsor is approved. Book your medical as the last thing you do. Get started on applying for your police records, every country you've been in for 6 months since age 18, except Canada. Start reading the guide and drafting your forms. You can find them here, if you don't already have the link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp

Wow, yes by the sounds of it I am. That must be pretty hard mnot seeing each other for so long! I hope you're getting yours in ASAP! Fingers crossed.

Yeah I guess ill have to start getting al, those things doe, thank you so much again for your help :)

Yes, it does. To minimize the chances of getting called for an interview, provide enough evidence of your relationship and organize it to make it easy to understand so that you minimize any questions for the person reviewing your file.
