Hey you were right... my background check shows in progress now..
nervous and excited at the same time.
seeing they didn't issue July applicants any DM, I can't be so optimistic as of now, but good to know that they are still working on our files.
what to make of the 'background check in progress' ??

Previously 5 lines in ecas - now 2.

It pains me to ask this, but is it possible that CIC have lost all of july candidates information seeing as there is little or no movement at all with July applicants ? Or is this slowness due to all of the Syrians being processed?
I'm not trying to cause alarm- but just trying to satisfy my own need to find out something about what the hell is going on.

I don't remember the exact date, but right after my medicals were passed.
 
Got a ghost email. Hoping it signifies something.
 
My ECA got the third line back again (regarding the schedule A request)

Really doubt that man. Surely we would have been notified at this stage if something like the above had occurred. There are still people with May/June AOR without DMs. Im july so wont start worryin about it till the 6 months lapses in january

But there're May/June applicants who got a DM/PPR while not a single July applicant got even a DM.

somehow August applicants are getting ghost emails.

are they processing July and August as one batch?

they have a maintenance on monday lets see if something roll out on tuesday.....

I received updated status yesterday and then my bg went in processing. Aug 14 aor
 
Landed at Rainbow bridge,Niagara today. All went smooth. Finally a Canadian PR after 5 years in Canada! What a journey it has been. :) Probably one of my last posts in this forum. Need to take a break from going through endless forum posts. Needless to say, this forum has been a great source of info and help. BIG THANKS to all of you and the forum. Continue the good work! This forum ROCKS!
