lol so true..all the other category applicants are flooded with either DM's or PPR's.....whereas no movement for us...strangeBaileyAB said:I can not believe how quiet it is for the past week in our FSW Inland stream.
Horrible.
for CEC category people from july 30th and august started getting ppr.... so i dont know why there is such a big difference between fsw inland and other categories.nrj123 said:lol so true..all the other category applicants are flooded with either DM's or PPR's.....whereas no movement for us...strange
Yeah, it's indeed unfair that CEC applicants are processed 2.5 times faster: ~21 weeks for FSW (mid May is still in process) vs ~8 for CEC (mid August are receiving their DM/PPR).wifedoctor said:I really thought I would be done in September. Like landing and all.
I am very disappointed, and speechless, this is unfair and completely haphazardous.
Now I feel 6 months is the best case scenario.
I know whining won't speed up the process, but just wanted to commiserate lol
I have been reading on this and have posted the same information before in this thread.anarsoul said:Is there anyone from those who already landed and brave enough to ask Minister of Immigration why there's such a difference in processing times for Express Entry CEC and Express Entry FSW (Inland applicants)?
See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/minister/alexander.asp I guess e-mail would be enough.
Key points are:
1) Both Express Entry FSW (Inland) and Express Entry CEC are processed by the same office
2) Both categories require work history check and police clearance check - I believe those are most time consuming
3) Still processing time differs a lot - 21 weeks vs 8 weeks - roughly 2.5 times difference!
4) FSW outland applicants are processed in roughly same 8 weeks as CEC.
5) Obviously, FSW inland has lower priority among all other categories. Why?
I don't want to contact him by myself, since I believe it could have impact on my application.
What about FSW Outland? Still same checks as FSW Inland and processing time same as CEC in most cases. I read that all EE applicants (not matter inland or outland) are processed by Ottawa, and if it's true I see no reason why FSW Inland take more time.KingOfGoodTimes said:sply these two steps are not there for CEC

I seriously doubt that claim , almost all out-land applicants I see have been sending passport to the local VO on PPR. Logically their files have to be there !anarsoul said:What about FSW Outland? Disagree. Not all outland apps are processed at Ottawa, some are actually processed at their local VO's. Furthermore those outland FSW applicants whose applications are processed at Ottawa have the same timeline as inland FSW. Take me an outlander for example and a few others, my app is being processed at Ottawa and I've been waiting for a decision since May 08.anarsoul said:What about FSW Outland?
