Hello everybody,
This is my first post on this forum, though I am not new to this forum. I have been reading all the posts for quite a sometime now. I am a doctoral student and living in Canada. Since I was not eligible to apply for PR under new EE system, my wife applied for it. She has been working in a research organization ever since we landed in Canada. In December, 2014 we did apply for PR but our application was returned as the particular NOC had already been filled up. We got a little bit panicked and as we didn't know much about EE, we decided to go with a lawyer. Therefore, we don't have direct access to our CIC account. However, our lawyer keeps updating us about our application.
Looking forward to a meaningful engagement with you guys.

14-Oct : Submission
14-Oct : AOR
Medicals Passed
Bg Check in Progress
Review of Eligibility in Progress
ECAS - Had access for a couple of weeks in October (3 lines)
Processing of application started on October 22.

I am in the same situation, October FSW Inland. I guess FSW Inland is the slowest one. Now only PNP and CEC categories are moving forward.MMCanada2014 said:

After this there is no update till today and when called CIC after completing the processing time, the agent said that the deadline for my application assigned by the VO is 26 June 2016 and I will hear something from CIC on or before this date. This means actual processing time for an Express Entry PR application is 1 Year. Its been 8 months now

Something is not right here,you should have asked for the GCMS notes, try to call CIC again too.BTW may I know your nationality?Maybe the security check is delaying your applicationabhy123 said:
Hey I ordered my GCMS notes on Feb 5th and it said it will take 31 calendar days to get them. My nationality is Indian. I also got an appointment with my local MP here in Toronto to discuss about this, expecting some help form him as my friends got great help from their local MP's in case of the work permits.
