ITA: Nov 27, 2015
AOR: December 22, 2015
Meds Passed: January 8, 2015
Background Check to In Progress: January 8, 2015
Background Check to Not Needed at This Time: January 22, 2015

Nothing since then.

PGWP expired on: Mar 24, 2016
BOWP applied on: Feb 20, 2016
App. No. Assigned: Feb 21, 2016

Nothing since then.

My work permit is expiring on 12th May'2016. Now I am going to apply for an extension. Hoping I hear something soon. For the work permit extension, do we have to attach all the documents we submitted for the PR? What do they ask for? Can someone who has done this already,please let me know?

You cannot extend your WP, but you can apply for BOWP(Bridge open work permit), For this you need to submit your AOR for EE as supporting document. Need to fill some more forms as well. The current processing time is 3 to 4 months. For you to get your BOWP approved your Eligibility should be passed in your EE.
Hopefully you get your PR approved before your BOWP.

Thanks, yes, I am hoping for the same too. But I have to apply for extension anyway to stay here. :-\

It is a good idea to apply for extension but you can stay and work here on implied status as long as your EE application is in process even after the expiry of your WP. But to have peace of mind , get your BOWP.
 
Thanks. So do I have to submit my PR application documents as well while applying for the BOWP?

No need, Just your AOR, need to fill some personal information forms and a digital photo.
 
Looks like 3 CEC inland Decemberians got PPR today!
 
Yes but they have in their timelines as PNP-CEC.. i dont know what that is.
I am NOV 27 Aor CEC inland applicant. No news yet other than BG back to progress on Mar 17.

They applied through the provincial nominee program.
