I have the same timeline like you guys and I haven't seen any updates on my profile as of yet.

Hopefully we are in the next PPR issued list

Cheers

how do you know where your file is ?

aaro27 - If you received you GM notes, most time it will indicate where your file is.

I ordered a second set of notes - I should be receiving this soon. Ordered on the 6th of March.

Is it true that ordering your GCMS notes can help to push your application along? I've heard a few people on here say that ordering your GCMS notes forces an agent to look at your file. But then I've also heard on other forums that ordering GCMS notes can create a backlog and slow the process down?

Which is correct?!

Hi All

I got Refusal on my application for BOWP, Reason being:

"BOWP eligibility parameters under PDI involve, among others, that foreign nationals be the principal applicant on an APR (under eligible PR streams) and that they have received a positive eligibility assessment on that APR."

What does this mean???

Hey BOWP applicants, what did you select for the intended work in Canada? I am adding my current job as that's what I will be working in afterI get my PR. Please let me know

What date is your AOR and are you the principal applicant for PR?

Hi Scottygirl.

My AOR is 22 Dec 2015, But this was my second attempt.
I'm the primary applicant.
I will be call cic tomorrow to get some kind of explanation, given the fact they give any proper answer. This is so stupid!!!!

Just a quick update. So When I filed my application my letter of reference for my foreign work experience was lacking important details as specified by CIC. I requested a letter from my former employer in Jamaica but my former boss gave me a general reference letter, assuming I needed one for employment purposes ( I did not tell her initially I needed this for immigration purposes but I did specify the details I want to include). I then had to request this to be redone. At the time of my request she went on a month’s vacation –smh. So I did not want to wait until she return before filing my application because I did not want my ITA to expire. So I sent what I have with an explanation letter noting that I would forward the updated reference letter once my former boss return from vacation.

During this time I requested my GM notes. After reviewing my notes I noticed I had put the name of one of two my Canadian employers twice. Though the reference letters reflected the correct names. So in essence the name on my Profile was entered twice for one employer and missing for the other. (I Know...Smh).

I have faith that CIC will see that the later was a genuine mistaken and not penalize me for human error.

So after receiving my updated reference letter from Jamaica I forwarded this to CIC along with a letter notifying them of my error on my profile.

They replied to me this evening with the following:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We have received your supporting documents and have attached them to your application.
If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you

So, I will wait to see what happens next. I have requested new GM notes on March 6th but have not received this yet.

I’ll keep you guys posted.
