I noticed only Tanuxx and Gillmandeep have gotten request to pay for RPR. I paid mine upfront. But have anyone else been requested to pay?

Its never conclusive, but its usually a good sign.

Hello Everyone,
This is my first post and my situation is very similar to some of you here as well. I am on a work permit (2nd renewal already) and the last of which was done in June of 2013 required LMIA which was secured and approved at that time. The Work permit was given for 3 years (of course expiring middle of June 2016). For all fault of mine (not having applied for it earlier) - now getting nervous as it is getting close.

Any help from friends here is truly appreciated on what the next risk mitigation step should be. Applying for a Bridge work permit since the PR application is being processed? Is that an easy process?

I wish you all good luck for your application and may we all see some progress soon.

Your timeline is very like mine. We were the same, put off applying after ITA rec'd on October 23rd and didn't submit it til December 14th. Paid all our fees upfront so just a case of waiting patiently ::)

With regards to your work permit, you can apply for a bridging permit since you have submitted a PR application. If you check the CIC website it will give you the details.

Hello everyone,

Still waiting like everybody else.

Cheers

Thanks for the pointer. Will check it out and we may have to do that in a month or two if there is no progress on this front. Would be unfortunate but self-inflicted. Just myself to blame for.

Hey folks,

I'm also in the same boat. I turned down my first ITA b/c police certificate was taking too long, second ITA was submitted 13th Nov and AOR on 14th Nov. I paid everything up front and things were moving along until the BG check switched from something to "not needed at this time," which I hear is happening to a lot of other people. I think this was late November or very early December. Have not heard anything since then. It seems backward that Outland applicants are moving at a faster pace than us, no?

I've ordered my GCMS notes after reading about them here on the forum. Not sure what that will accomplish if anything, but at least it will help verify if the process is stuck somewhere and whether I can provide updated info to get it moving along again. If they just made those small status updates available to us I think a lot of applicants wouldn't be so anxious.

Good luck folks,
Cheers,
Z

Thanks for update. Fingers crossed for rest of us. No update in my application since dec 3.
Each passing day makes me more nervous. Cic hasnt asked for any clarification for anything yet. Bg check in progress from last 3 months. I applied in Nov. VO ottawa.
