That is FANTASTIC! I'm so :) for you! Question: Did they ask for all of those things at the same time? and Did they ask because you weren't clear on your personal history and addresses when you first sent in your app? Thank you for your time in answering.

Sorry, I am just seeing this. Yes, they asked for all those at the same time. I submitted the additional proof of cohabitation and the remaining personal history first. They sent me AIP a day after I submitted those and then the Landing interview letter was sent to me after I submitted the police certificates and the fingerprints. Also, I did submit personal history and addresses of places I lived for the past 10 years as part of my initial application document, but they asked me to add the remaining number of years after I turned 18 until 2009.

Today is one year since they received my documents. I called them and after a long waiting time, they told me that the background check may take up to 32 months in some cases and they can not tell how long it going to be.

32 MONTHS???????????????????????? That doesn't make sense! Are you an 2018 applicant??

Does anyone know how often they update the ECAS? Is it done once a day? Thank you.

Congrats Cindy!
If they haven't previously sent you a procedural fairness letter asking for additional relationship proof (e.g. cohabitation proof) then DM is 100% a positive sign. You have nothing to worry about here :)
