Sorry me again. Has anyone ever used a 3rd party to get their RCMP check done? example: Commissionaires If so, do you receive the results pretty quick? I wasn't sure how I should submit the results...do they give them to me and I upload it to the webform? or if they submit them electronically to IRCC. Our local police dept has a long wait time and then it takes 2 weeks to get the results, so we are going with the 3rd party.

I used Commissionaires for my fingerprints and they were great, and very fast, so I would think they would be as good for RCMP. The FBI is usually pretty slow but they sent off my prints so fast that I got the FBI response in like a week. Can’t directly compare, but my experience w/fingerprints was much nicer than a friend who went to the police station for it

Hello everybody. I just finished my RCMP fingerprints. They will mail them to me in about a week. I asked her if many people get asked to do this for PR and she said definitely especially if you've been living in Canada for a while and I haven't crossed the border in 2 years. That made me feel better. I highly recommend using Commisionaires. They were fast and less expensive than the police dept.

PR Timeline - inland spouse sponsorship:

Delivered 1st time: June 4, 2018

Returned for a missing signature: July 27, 2018

Delivered 2nd time: August 1, 2018

Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR): August 28, 2018

Medical Request: October 30, 2018

Medical exam done: November 7, 2018

Medical passed: November 15, 2018

Started working on Application (ECAS): February 21, 2019

DM Sponsor / Sponsor Approval letter (SA): March 11, 2019 from Montreal Hub Office

Background check (BGC) started: May 16, 2019

Approval in Principle (AIP): May 17, 2019 from Hamilton ON Office (letter dated April 26, 2019 but received on May 17, 2019)

DM PA: June 28, 2019

Landing interview email: July 18, 2019

Landed at Hamilton ON office on July 23, 2019

Received PR card on July 30, 2019

I got email for landing interview but I emailed back to reschedule it. Also through web form I informed cic about my need of reschedule interview as my passport is in my embassy for renewal. Will get shortly.

But didn't get any response/ reply from them. Wondering is there any way to check that got my response

Have you tried calling an agent to ask? It seems like someone else on the Whatapp group had to reschedule their interview, but I can't remember. I think they allowed them to, though.

RCMP check people: I was under the assumption that the company would send the results to immigration for me, but today they told me they would mail them to me in about a week from Ottawa. Anyone else have a similar (or different) experience? Thank you. How do I send them to immigration at that point? Do I upload to the webform, OR I have an email directly to my local office which was on the letter I received asking for fingerprints. I guess I could email it there. Wasn't sure if they needed an original or not. Thank you for your time..once again.

It is a phone app called WhatsApp I forgot who started it but you can request they add you to the group and it is a way to instant message each other (All are August 2018 Inland apps)

I didn't have to do an RCMP check but they did request some documents from me. I received an email and I replied to the email with the document. The letter they sent told me to send it to that email. So the letter requesting your RCMP check should have information on how you should submit the document. I just took a picture and sent it to the email they asked me to send it to.

Hello. I think someone has spoken about this before, so forgive me if this is the case. If you have had an RCMP check, how long after you submitted the results did you receive DM? I think I read where this should be close to the last step. (I hope.) Thank you for your time.

If I recall correctly, someone in the August batch got DM maybe a week or two after the RCMP request? This was within the last month or so as I remember. Ours came about ten days after the last ADR they gave us (not RCMP request specifically, though, never got that).
