Here in Vancouver, interviews are 3+ months out so even if you don’t have DM you may beat me yet! :)

I called IRCC and the agent told me they actually have NOT made a final decision on my file, though BGC is done, so I guess that does mean ecas is wrong? Or that it’s indicative of just AIP, nothing more? Agent just told me to be patient and keep waiting, couldn’t say what more needed to be done or what the outcome might be — and to be honest made me nervous because he sort of implied it might be rejection :/ hopefully it’s just nerves making me think that.

I hope I do get a DM letter. If I have to wait all the way until a Vancouver landing letter I might lose it!

Right, they just need to finalize which is when you get DM/landing letter. I don't think there's much to it after AIP. You have AIP which you pretty much could consider as DM.

Exact same situation, ECAS has DM on both sides, AIP letter and pre arrival services letters received, but nothing now since June 7th. Having seen others get their DM/Landing interview letters straight after AIP, I am kind of disappointed.

From the Vancouver Landing thread, it sounds like at least some people get landing letters about a month after DM on ECAS, but never do get DM letters. I guess we just have to hope...

I landed yesterday in Calgary. It was a short 5 minute process and we went downstairs to Service Canada and got a new SIN. I wish everyone still waiting some good news soon. I am thinking about you all and I check this forum everyday and smile when I see news that one more person has received AIP or DM. I am praying and hoping for a smooth and quick finish for everyone, especially our very thoughtful and kind Jojo.who has celebrated everyone's victory and encouraged everyone who was sad. I will still be here should anyone have questions.
So happy for you! Congratulations!

Guys , I just received the letter from Etobiko office . It says : it has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common law partner in Canada class . Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met .
What’s that ???

Congrats! That is AIP (approval in principle). It means you've been approved for sponsorship. You should expect to receive a "landing" interview next and that's when the process will be officially finalized.

Thank you . Does that mean that I can apply for health card already ?
