I got my third GCM NOTES, last two more than 50 pages,this time got 19 pages, they write in GCM NOTES " Page 8 is withheld pursuant to section 19(1) of the access to information act, pls anyone know meaning, help me, they did not send eligibility, admissibility, criminality, medical, history applications status, online case status mostly section
What's meaning pls help me

A long time ago I have ordered 2 notes as well, there is a bunch of stuff that was not useful for me. Also, by that time they did not have started my BGC and Eligibility, so I guess that, before that, the notes may be shorter.

I'm not sure what exactly the section you have descrived is related to, but as far as I understood, there is some information that cannot be disclosed to you as per the "Section 19(1) of the Access to Information Act", which I've found HERE:

I would not worry too much about the volume of your last notes, if there is something wrong, they will let you know and give you a chance to respond.

Your application should be completed soon, since we both applied in Aug 2018, I was Aug 13 2018 applicant.
My BGC was showing as "in progress" until the day I've got the final decision and received PR, that day my CIC account has been updated and I have found that my BGC has been completed back in March 2020. They are not updating the system, so your process probably is close to completion.

Did they request you to pass a new medical exam or to send updated forms?

Finally, Permanent Resident!

Hi guys, I brought very good news. I just received my landing email, and I'm officially a permanent resident!

I received DM Monday and today I received the email informing me that my application is now complete and I'm now PR.

I would like to thank you guys for all the support that you gave to me, answering my questions and sharing information to help each other.

I hope everyone else here gets PR very soon!

I'll be around checking the posts, I'd like to see you all sending good news too!

Hi @Minian sorry for the delay, and thank you!

Yes my meds have expired and they requested me to do it again. Unfortunately, meds are valid only for 1 year, and most likely they will request you new meds before final decision if it has been more than one year you have passed meds.

Thanks for your answer. I know that médical expire after a Year. They ask for a médical for my husband's son when we receive AIP. At this stage medical was expired for him a long time ago. I was expecting that if they wanted a new one they would have ask at the same time. I will be so mad if they ask a new medical at 26 months when they could have ask way earlier I see a lot of people of 2018 that pass with expire exam so I cross my finger and hope all is gonna end soon

Congrats, it's a very good sign! I received the Pre-arrival letter on Mar. 06 2020. My 2nd meds were updated on Mar. 23 2020 and I've got DM on May 11 2020. I believe yours should come soon, mine could be delayed due to the COVID issue, so if you already have pre-arrival letter, your DM might be on the way, especially if they do not require more meds.

It reassures me a little to see that they asked you for the medical before the pre arrival letter. But as it seems that the agents do not all work in the same way, I try not to have too many illusions. I just have to wait and see. But this letter is a good sign that we are goiing forward
