i m sept 30 2016 and i have done medicals in may 2016 also my dependant in sept 2016 and since then nothing yet. I thought that the request of medicals in may was a good sign and it could have been faster. Plus when i spoke to my rep about news for AIP she asked what is it? i figure i paid over 4 grand to hire an idiot and incompetent. I wish i could get a reimburse because it's a complete hoax dealing with these self-styled lawyers

I just caught the last couple messages, and I started to wonder if you folks had heard the news from IRCC today.

There will basically be no outland/inland, and application processing times are 12 months for 80% of cases. Cases in process will come out as they went in (so watch cases near to your submission date) at the same rate they are now until the backlog is gone (Dec 2017 for all cases submitted by yesterday).

When it gets to 16 months, you can call CIC, as that is when you should get AIP according to their website. They will be able to look at your file and give you an update. Have you ordered your gcms notes? They will tell you more about your app.

no i will order them soon...i was gonna ask to my rep who is a total useless person:))) but as i read in the previouse post looks like the streamline action in terms of time is starting...so we will see

You can send a form to CIC that removes all the representatives from your application, then it will be you who receives all updated info
 
My application online status has been reduced from three lines to one line now. What does this mean?

It was:1 we received... 2 we sent you... 3 we began to ...

Now there is only the first line. What would this mean? What should I expect? I am so excited... :P

mine too, and I read others said the same, seems to be a common thing
 
Hi everyone!

I am very confuse right now. My ECAS shows that they have received my medical results. CIC shows that it is PASSED. Now, I received a message asking me to do the medicals again. Is there anybody out here in the same situation as me? August 12, 2015 applicant here. Did upfront medical. Thanks!

yes, my friend had to do but right after medical within 15-days they got PR. You just need to follow what they are asking provide them as soon as possible.
 
so after calling twice CIC they told me they sent me an AIP in august the 31st. i am a sept 30th 2015 app. I asked my representative she said what is an AIP?....very good i said:))) worst money spent in my life. IS the AIP a specific letter?, Because my wife was finalized the 17th of may 2016 concerning the eligible criteria. I am getting confused sometimes. The operator said they sent an internal letter to Veigreville and OSWP should be issued soon. Plus i am in the final stage and basically they could request the final fee at every moment. I was just wondering because with the AIP i can get health coverage too. thanks for anyone who might have some answer about it
