Hi everyone, I got an email from CIC stating:

Dear Sir/Madam:
I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview
that has been scheduled for:
DATE: Oct. 19, 2016
LOCATION: 5353 Dundas Street West, Ground Floor, Etobicoke
In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All
applicants must provide their original valid passport at the landing interview.

Is this an interview or landing?? What questions would CIC agent will be asking, I'm worried please guide...

What should I expect in questions ?

Some say there are none. Most say there is 3 simple quwstions to make sure the application material facts didn't change (criminal offence? Kids? Etc) if you can't answer those, you'd be in trouble ;)

July 23 2015 here....I called a gain and got some gentleman who told me that security background on my file has been completed and that is usually the last stages..He advised i just wait for an agent will be looking into my file again for review.

people around this time who have called again and got differenct response to pls share...AM GOING CRAZY SOON..AM HOME SICK

29th April 2015 applicant here. I received an email on the 7th last week scheduling me for a Landing Interview on October the 13th.

They seem to be processing applications in order now. And maybe scheduling Landing Interviews for folks who received Stage 1 approval post September 2015. I was the last of the bunch from April because maybe my application was a little more complicated than others.

I need help updating the Spreadsheet. I can't seem to add my update on the the "New Entry and Update" tab.

Complete Timeline.
Application Received: April 29th, 2015
Started Processing: June 29th, 2015
1st AOR: June 30th, 2015
2nd AOR: January 21st, 2016
OWP: Never Received
Medical & Police Check Sent Upfront (meaning they didn't ask for it): July 11th, 2016
Decision Made: October 9th, 2016
Landing Scheduled: October 13th, 2016

This entire process was hard, harder because I did not get an Open Work Permit. And also seeing September 2015 applicants getting landing before I did was pretty rough (not that they were at fault lol). But we are excited to start our lives in Canada. I do hope everyone has it smooth sailing from here but this forum was the best and I hope to keep contributing what I have learnt. All the best to you all! :D

I also called last week, am also July 23 2015 applicant, but all I heard from the agent was that I still need to wait 2 more months to hear from them since processing time is 16 months.. I knew I wound't get any info from them but what a waste of time by calling them! I also asked whether my case is under Backlog reduction program but she said it wouldn't make any difference to process the apps and didn't answer whether mine is under it or not.!

You can order GCMS notes to find out whether your case is under Backlog reduction program

Congratulations Fsuhail and Inlander! Awesome news.

That means they are adding you to the list of apps to process fast.

Well, you need more than a few pictures to prove that your relationship is genuine. Plus, if you applied as a Common-law partner, you need even more proof, because you need to prove that you've lived together (for 1 year or more) and that you are still* living together.

[*for an Inland application]

Besides the pictures, did you include anything else?!

This means you are selected for faster processing.

Mine one says
***Review Required**Application identified as part of the 2016 reduction exercise for certain spouses or Common-Law Partner in Canada Applications. Application requires closer review.

Good that you do not have the additional highlighted thing which I am assuming means more time. This wait is killing me, can't travel.

Did you get a request to update PCC or Medical?
