Which is ur processing center ?CPC -V or CPC-M? And did u get a call from an unknown number?

Hello members, I need some advice here.

I am an August 2015 applicant. I sent my medicals and police check with initial application. Since it is already over a year, that documents would be invalid now. Should I do upfront medical and police check and send those documents in advance so that when they open my file, they have all necessary documents OR should I wait for CIC to ask me to submit these documents (I have heard that your file gets delayed by another months when CIC asks for more documents).

Please advise as I don't want any delay in my file (considering I am an August 2015 applicant and probably the last in queue ).

I never got acknowledgement for OWP application.
I applied for PR in Mar 2015. This application is under process and we have got SA.
Applied for open work permit paper application in May 2016...dint get acknowledgement for this . My original work permit is expiring this month. I don't know how to inquire about status of this OWP since I don't even have an app. No.
Please help, does Cic usually send acknowledgement for the receipt of OWP application.

No, I don't believe they send an AOR for OWP. If you tracked the delivery of it, then them signing for it is the only receipt you will have.

CIC doesn't send any acknowledgement for OWP paper application.
I applied on April 28th and OWP was approved on July 26th so your should be just around the corner
I actually was able to link my OWP application in mycic account which helped me with the application and real time information.

Its better to wait till CIC ask you it depends upon ur luck may be they won't ask you.... I also sent all the papers upfront but recently they asked me for PCC.

You are kidding? Did you mean 2015? I mean, congrats! but I applied in July 2015 and have heard nothing, many others are in the same boat. CIC are the worst!!!!

We submitted our application on 30 March, 2016 and have only received AOR and OWP.
