Did anyone heard from CPC-V after sending the police certificates?
Yes. I've got email from CPC-V about 10 days after sending the police certificates recently.

has anyone received such msg from CIC?

Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your account and check your application status and messages for more information.
This message is intended for the following e-mail address: xxxxxxxxx. If this message is not for you, please delete it.

I checked my account i had linked previously and there's nothing...I will call them tomorrow, but I wonder if this is a glitch in the automatic email notification system...

Even I had received this same message a few days after linking my PR application to my online account. When I checked, I can see the status updated. You need to scroll down a bit and read the table containing your app information for any updates. Most likely, it might not be a glitch imo.

Hi one of my friend got a mail yesterday saying that they need his Indian PCC and finger prints to make decision. He received his SA last week n in the letter its written very clearly that they received all the docs n his file was in Calgary now the letter came from Vancouver. Can anyone say that is he at his final stage for PR? He is 2014 Dec apllicant

Yes, seems they have completed the application review and need PCC & finger prints for proceeding further. Receiving additional doc request is always a positive sign that your app is moving forward.

My acknowledgement letter for PCC states below

This acknowledges receipt of the requested information or documentation detailed in a recent request sent between <>. If you are unable to submit all requested items, you must inform us by the deadline indicated in that request letter. Failure to provide the requested information before the deadline specified in that request letter or to inform us of the reasons for any delay may result in the refusal of your application.

Is the second statement a reason to worry or just a standard template being used.
