Not nothing like that... we just don't have the often mention bills or bank accounts together.
Actually a scroll through our facebook profiles would most certainly proof us a genuine couple... :P

Mine says this:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 3, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.
3. We sent you a letter on May 9, 2016. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

And nothing else.

October 9th applicant. Today CIC confirmed my eligibility as a sponsor AND they already requested that my husband undergo a medical exam. YAY.

Oh crikey! I was JUST about to post saying something like, oh man if they start doing October 2015 apps before March-August I'm gonna flip!

Then I see your post :o :o :o
Happy for you, but >:( at CIC haha!

CIC officials probably close their eyes, feel around their desks, and start working on whichever file their hands land on first.

I hope yours (and other early-2015 ones) gets processed soon!

I had just got to the point of accepting that maybe they were processing applications from September as some sort of pilot into reducing waiting times. Now that they've started processing October 2015 applications I am starting to wonder if they're just trying to game the system by processing a bunch of late-2015 so that they can boast of a "reduced average" waiting time for applicants or something...

Can anyone tell me if we can apply OUTLAND even if the CiC in Australia us aware that we are in Canada now? I'm Canadian born and my husband is here as a Visitor planning on applying for his PR. It is a lot fadter, and I'm still employed in Oz. With a good job in Canada shortly.

Hello,
Can anyone help me with my question please???

We sent the application in December 27, 2015. after that we received the email in the sponsor's email in February, 2016 says

Sponsorship
1. We received your application to sponsor XXX XXXX on December 30, 2015.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 19, 2016.

I didn't send the OWP application with the PR application. I'm wondering if I can apply for OWP online now or do I have to wait for sponsor approve first?

Thank you.

Hello! As long as you hold valid status in Canada, you are eligible for the OWP through the pilot program. If you don't have valid status, you'll need to apply to restore your status first, or wait until you get approval in principal. I don't know if the pilot program OWP can be done online or not. We mailed ours to Vegreville.

That's a good theory as Trudeau is so desperate to meet his policies. I am feeling very disheartened as a July 2015 applicant :(

I'm torn. I'm really glad to have a government that actually cares about meeting the policies they laid out during the election, but I wasn't expecting them to go about it this way. I hope it's something more innocent than that. Maybe they hired someone new and that person is so efficient that it's making the others look bad? Sometimes I'm tempted to apply for a job at CIC just to get an inside look at how things are done. We need a mole, lol.

At the moment only applicants who have got approval in principal can apply OWP online.
For people only have AOR, they have to apply by mail.
