My application reached CPC-M on 04/29/2016. I noticed thay many applicnats have got their medical requests within 3/4 months of applying. It is this fast or some special cases?

I have not sent my medicals along with the applications, was thinking if I should be taking the mediclas proactively?

I applied in January this year and didnt send my medical either.. I read in this forum earlier that people who sent their medical with their file was asked to send them again. May be CIC lost it or didnt receive it at all. So I was thinking to send them when they ask for it.

Yes, CBSA can `request' CIC to expedite the process to reach first stage approval (AIP) within 60 days, for someone that is out of status. There have been a few people here that benefited greatly from such a request! No idea how CBSA determines which applicants to request this from CIC.

It's also worth mentioning that it is only a request from CBSA and if CIC refuses, the applicant is usually in a bit of a pickle.

Sofiee,

I wanted to update the spreadsheet. I have moved from the Niagara Region to Calgary, Alberta.

Thanks.

Also got an email today (5/5/2016) for Medical request. If you can update this as well.

Thank you.

Hi Everyone,

I received DM on April 14th 2016. I still haven't heard from Etobicoke immigration office regarding Landing. Should I be worried? Is there a number that I can call to find out about the landing appointment?

Thanks!

What is DM?

Decision Made

Thanks Ponga.

Based on what I am seeing on that spreadsheet looks like it takes approximately 5-7 months to receive the sponsorship approval. Is this true?

That is NOT normal (unless CIC has drastically improved the processing time for Inland applicants).

It's been taking, on average, ~ 17 months to receive SA, which sometimes leads to AIP same day, or a few days later. Even still, many Inlanders still have to wait several months after SA to get AIP.

I basically filled out "IRCC Web Form" on CIC.. Just type "IRCC Web Form CIC" on google and click on the 1st link.. Once you are on the website, click where it says "Tell us more" and fill in the info. For some reason, I cant post that link for you here.. Its not letting me to post link in here.

Thank you. I will try this. Hopefully they will reply soon. :)

all the people who were busy doing the refugee processing now doing spousal? 25,000 refugees processed in 3 months to the point of PR card! hopefully now the same resources will be dedicated to the family class and in 2 months complete the process for everybody in the forum.

one can dream...
