Sorry to bug you, how can I look if we have paid already RPRF?

It's no bother.

$75 for Sponsorship app
$475 for PR app
$490 for RPRF

$1040 total.

If you ordered an OWP:
$155 OWP
$100 OWP holder fee
(Or those may be reversed):
$255 total

There is three ways to know if you paid:
- they usually ask for proof you paid for it on every correspondence if you didn't pay it yet.
- look at your original receipts (you usually have to bring proof of RPRF paid to the landing interview)
- order sponsorship application GCMS notes.

Thank you! I just looked at all my receipts and those were the amounts we paid. I've never received work permit will the fee be returned?

Well this seems to happen a lot around here, but a day after complaining and requesting a new copy of my GCMS notes I received my Landing Interview appt. for Wednesday 9th :D

Congrats!! Haha I remember complaining on this forum too and then receiving good news from CIC shortly after :)

If they didn't issue one they you should ask for a refund.

Hi,
Have a quick question.
If I apply from outland, can I have a status here in Canada? And extend by stay as a worker?

Cheers!

Sure you can apply as a temporary foreign worker. You will have to find an employer within Canada who wants to hire you. They will have to complete and submit a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Typically this is difficult, but not unheard of.

Did you see my post in the 2016 thread from last night? I do understand how you feel, but it's statistically possible... so don't worry :)

Is that about their quota?
I'd like to believe and be positive, but if we don't get it this year it just feel so frustrating again sometimes i dont want to wait anymore, but there's no other way

Well, being positive is healthier for you. If you stress and focus on that problem intensely, it will only amplify things.

The way my wife and I have approached this thing, is to continue on our daily routine and only react when needed. Otherwise, CIC is just noise for us. It's an interesting math problem to me..

When you get your PR, you will look back and say it was all worth it.

That is true. What bugs me is that. On Feb they started my application after they received it on December, i got my OWP on April and in June they requested me for my Singapore police clearance. I submitted than in August along w my upfront medical but since then we havent heard from them... i thought that if we submit an upfront medical the process could be faster than it might be but its almost 3 months since then and we've got nothing

This is probably better in a PM, but I have a few questions here:
- You didn't submit a medical with your application, right? When did you do that medical?
- Does myCIC state that Background Checks are needed and in progress?
- Do you see anywhere that the medical results have passed?

If it makes you feel any better:
March 2 they received my wife's application. They didn't acknowledge it until May 13. They didn't start working on it until May 23.
