Applied in may 2015 and still application received, how come some apply on Nov got their so fast?

as of today my husband is a PR of CAnada
We had an interview today in Ottawa literally took 3 minutes, there was a lot of us there.
We applied Jan 2015 Inland, medical requested APril 2016 everything went pretty quick, our application was not complicated only the 2 of us and been together for 12yrs.

Seems like cic is working on these apps overtime

Me too, Application received November 4, 2015 OWP April 25, 2016, interview request June 1 2016 Landed today June 7, 2016. Looks someone put second gear in processing. Good luck to everyone hope get landing soon as well.

The work permit I have sent with my app had expired but I got a new one from my employer. Should I send that to CIC or they will automatically have it through my UC ID

I wonder if your employer knew that you could have simply applied for a new OWP, because of your Inland sponsorship application, which would have saved them a lot of $$.

Hey guys - my husband received AIP and a medical request on May 16, and we redid the medical on the 25th, but nothing has changed in ecas yet. It just says "application received Sept 11", is that normal??

The sponsor side of things was updated immediately (we got AIP and SA on the same day) so I'm not quite sure why it hasn't changed. Should I be worried?
