I'd like to welcome all future 2015 inland applicants!
Although it's still 2014, you can join this thread if you are planning to file an inland app in 2015, you can share your questions and concerns.
A couple things to start:
Know that you can apply outland even if you are in Canada. Check the processing time in the appropriate thread, it can be much shorter than what CIC states on the website.
If you apply inland, consider to send an application for OWP, which gives you implied status during the process (only if you have valid status at the time that CIC receives your Inland application and OWP).
Wish you a smooth and fast process in 2015!

I am a future applicant for 2015. Me and my fiancé will be getting married this April 2015.
My study permit will be expiring july 2015 and I can't apply for post graduate work permit cos I still owe my school fees. My questions are
1. Can I get the breakdown of the process of making the inland application
2. Do I need to include medicals with the application since it will probably expire before they issue AIP
3. Since my study permit is still valid through july, can I still continue working after july since I would be on implied status
4. Is the assistance of a lawyer. Necessary? The cheapest I found so far says he will charge 4000 for the whole process
