I applied June 2014 and I paid $1040 upfront. I paid cash through the bank and I used the receipt that was mailed to me. My problem now is I can't find my copy and the bank said there's nothing they can do to help me. I'm pretty sure I have placed my receipt somewhere "safe" but I can't remember where . How can I prove that I have paid already? Is there any way that I can check that my payment went through? No SA, AIP or DM yet but I just want to be ready just in case. Thanks all!
Do you receive your bank statements? I know I can check mine online but I'm not sure if it would go that far back.

You can order your GCMS notes (see the FAQ if don't know how), it will show you if the payment is on your file. Although my notes haven't showed for several months that I paid the RPRF.
My invitation to landing said that I need to have the receipt with me, but the landing officer didn't even take a look at it, he said he can see from my file that everything is paid, so no need for the receipt.

hi congratulations msbozick. One question did u submit medical in your original application? Thank you.

No, I did not because I knew it would be over a year before I was processed and I didn't want to take the chance of needing to redo it. I have an appointment on Wednesday!

Congrats on getting AIP.

Keep in mind, however that he is no longer your BOYFRIEND. He is your COMMON LAW partner.

While you are absolutely correct in all situations legal and in the eyes of the government (and clearly we are not oblivious to this fact based on our situation) my boyfriend will be my boyfriend until we are engaged and then married. :) Even though the word boyfriend seems trivial because we have been together for 6 years, it is what it is-- Horray!

What's a realistic timeline for notes requests?

They say *within* 30 calendar days in the email, I've waited those 30 days, does CIC always have to fail to meet their own deadlines?
How badly has CIC failed this particular deadline for everyone else?

I received my GCSM notes today for my already completed DM application (Waiting for Landing interview)

It's embarrassing how long they did take for processing by looking at the notes there is no reason for it to take 17 months for everything they checked on me.

Eh...

Me and Cedeel requested the GCSM notes on Sept.11th, and on Sept.15th we were getting AIP and DM. We still did not received them. We are also waiting for a landing interview but my office is quite slow (Montreal...). So the notes are a bit useless now, but I am still curious what they put in there... So I guess it's not even worth to wait for it since maybe, MAYBE we'll get the landing interview before the notes actually arrive in my inbox. :')

Well, just got a letter addressed to my husband today requested an additional forms.
It was dated September 15 (the date it says they started processing our application)
Form was "Additional Family Information".
I take this will add a extra 3 months on to our processing time. :(

Just wondering, when they send you the information request letter, did you application status changed from "in process" to something else?

Yes you are next jwilcanada. Hopefully you'll have good news soon and also for the rest of May applicants and eventually all of 2014 applicants.

Congrats and thanks for sharing the good news. We applied in July, and according to ECAS, our application is in process since April. Just wondering how long did it take you to get DM from the processing started. Also, did you have to submit any additional information? Does your status change when they request for additional information? We have not received any correspondence from CIC other than the initial receipt letter.

Thanks for your help! and good luck with the rest.

I sent an email when 1 month had passed and was told it was "working" days. Got my notes sent that day. If it's been more than 30 days, send an email.

So we ordered GSMS notes last month since our files transferred to local office before AIP, my husband came and claimed refugee at POE, he was so scared with the VO question at border so he didn't tell the truth a beginning, They also noted in his file that he obtained visitor visa using fraudulent documents when he arrive which we not sure until now why they say that in his file when he arrives Since his passport and all documents is genuine, He never used fraudulent documents

The GSMC note says that his file noted that and that's the reason they transfer to local office for further review
reason for transfer it says eligibility

anyone can shed a light will be useful, how can we prove to CIC that statement is wrong and he did not use fraudulent documents to get his visitor visa

Can someone shed some light on this please

Ah ok. We received AIP and DM a day after you did Sept 29 and did submit medicals in our original application (May 7, 2014) and luckily they didnt asked for it to be redone after almost 17 months.

Hi dwang018. In our Ecas it says they started processing our application Feb 11, 2015 and our AIP and DM was just 2 days ago Sept 29, 2015. So almost after 8 months.

And about additional info they did but we didnt received it tru email because we never received any request. We found out that they need Additional Family Info and Schedule A when we ordered our GCMS notes. But when we did know it it was past the due date because they requested it Mar 2015 and has a due date of May2015 but we ordered our notes June 2015 and received it July 2015 so it is 2months late. We just added a cover letter explaining the situation and thats it.

No our status didnt changed in Ecas up till now in my Ecas sponsor its still in process but my husbands Ecas it says Decision Made a day after we received the 2 emails (AIP and DM)

Have you tried ordering your notes? Not sure because if you want to be proactive it wouldnt hurt because like what happened to us we didnt received any email that is why we are so shocked when we found out tru GCMS that they requested some. But you are July applicant so I guess a couple of months from now I hope you receive some good news. Just hang in there.

It already said "In Process" before that for the Sponsorship. When you log into his ecas, it says "Application Received" but when you click on it it says "We sent you a correspondence this day. Please provide the additional information requested blah blah blah."
