INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

I received this morning an e-mail from CIC in French, mentioning that my sponsorship application was accepted. Is it an AIP or SA? I am the person sponsored and my husband who is the sponsor didn't receive any E-mail from CIC. The E-cas is not updated since it was created.

It sounds like AIP...especially if it said: "It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class"
(even though you already have applied).

I suspect that your sponsor will receive their email at any minute.

That's great automaton, and Congratulations!!! As for me, I never had an upfront medical. I done it before they requested, some people done it that way...and it seems okay!

I do have a copy of my Medical UMI# and I will send it through fax and email soon, did CIC request more proof of cohabitation since you applied in Dec. 2013?

No they never made any contact aside from AIP/DM, but we are married and our address never changed.

It sounds like AIP...especially if it said: "It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class"
(even though you already have applied).

Thank You ponga. In french It said''Votre demande en vue d’obtenir le statut de résident permanent en qualité de membre de la
catégorie des époux ou conjoints de fait au Canada a été jugée recevable" It means that my PR application was found acceptable. I hope I'll get DM soon.

It means you will have to be interviewed to prove the genuineness of your relationship. So the Vancouver office will contact you for an interview before you are approved.

APR is probably `Approval' Application for PR (credit to automaton82 for being smrter smArter).

If your sponsor did not receive the approval email (SA) and you did not receive the approval email (AIP), then...it sounds like an interview to discuss/assess your relationship with your sponsor. If it IS...don't panic! They probably just need you and your sponsor to clarify some things.

Thank you, Ponga! yeah, you are right. I think CIC want to clarify somethings. maybe I know what... we have some problem with my partner's ex. she is stalker.
she sent withdraw request pretended him & changed his address to her address (we didn't know this until cic sent letter to him today!! :-X) We might have red flag on our file...

It's a bit weird that CIC didn't require medical or security and background checks :
(Everything sent with the applications)
