CIC is doing things differently (surprise surprise) for at least a handful of people, since there have been a few December 2013/January 2014 applicants getting DM, without AIP...even though the website shows that they are working on applications received in November 2013.

Wow. Congrats on getting a landing interview.

That's a first I have seen is getting one without any of the 3 stages issued.

I really wonder what they are up to with the random DMs with no AIP and not showing the correct processing times. I guess if they posted that they are processing Dec 2013/Jan 2014 then the call centre would be jammed up more than usual. Either way I'm just happy that there's movement :-)

My work permit app was received on Dec 29th and I live in BC.

But I am happy I have received my OWP today.!!

Application Submitted: 5 December, 2014 (medicals submitted along with )
AOR Received: 3rd April, 2015 (i am able to login to ecas) :)
Open Work Permit: Submitted 9, Jan 2015
Open work permit received: 30th April 2015.

i submitted mine Jan. 19, 2015...i hope i will receive mine too...
 
I'm a Dec 31 2013 applicant and received AIP and SA emails this evening. So good news for everyone in 2014 since I should be the last.

Feb 2014 applicant from FB group got AIP!!!!
 
Oh my goodness, I can't believe we're actually excited that CIC has finally started to process people in December 2013.

Really, their pace is awful.
