Okay, yes. That makes sense...so I guess we shouldn't start counting until we receive AOR. Any idea how long that is taking? From what I've seen on this site it seems to me that it typically takes a little over a month for AOR??

The amount of information on here is kind of overwhelming. Massively helpful but a bit overwhelming for a newcomer. I try to sift through but sometimes miss the answers to the (bazillion) questions that I have so I apologize if this question has already been answered...

Thanks again for the help! VERY much appreciated!

No problem. Happy to help.

The whole Pilot system is messed up. There is no correct order they are giving out these OWP...

People who applied in May, June, July 2014 are getting their OWP already yet people in 2013 and early 2014 still dont have their OWP.... Its a total mess but at least they are getting out but I wish they followed the correct time line I think it has something to do with the CIC-V to CIC-M Transfer processes as everyone who already has their OWP from mid-late 2014 was not involved in the transfer process.

See the spreadsheet here...

Hi Everyone,

Just an update, so I'm able to see my file in E-cas now. On mine (the sponsor) it now says that we have received your app on April 9 2014 and also we have started processing your app on Jan 5 2015.

Not sure what they mean by Jan 5 2015, I thought they were working on apps from aug 2014.

They started processing the sponsorship. My husband got that on his Ecas back in September, from our March 2014 inland application. They haven't started the applicant's side of things.

My ecas says that they started working on mine on nov 28 2014. They received my application on april 3rd 2014.

HI All,

I have a question in regards to the filling out the forms. My husband will be sponsoring me.

I filled out the Schedule A -Background/Declaration Form, Does my husband also need to fill one out?

I don't have any children, and I have no siblings, just my mom and dad. would i still need to fill out Additional Dependents and Additional Family Information forms?

Thank you so much!

It is completely normal, eCAS is not so reliable and can show different things for people who are in the same stage of processing.

Me and my wife submitted the application in may 2014...so far we have heard absolutely nothing from immigration, no number, no nothing. Our lawyer says this is normal, a lot of times you dont even get a confirmation from immigration at all that they have received the application...is this correct?
