I got it via email. All my correspondence from CIC is via email. If you provided them your email address you should be getting it by email. Were your SA/AIP/DM letters by email?

Yes, all the correspondence was through email, any idea how long etobicoke office will take to contact for landing interview?

Thank you Ponga & Percy Weasley. I know there are still people waiting longer than me, it's just so discouraging to feel like I've been left behind for no reason. I'm hoping we hear from the MP soon and that he can do something, ANYTHING, to help us!!

This is a really awful situation, and I'm sorry to hear this is happening to you for no reason other than Canadian government incompetence.

While Canada has its flaws, as sadly seen here, I hope you do stick it out for a bit more and end up staying in Canada as it is a great place to live, most of the time, and you seem like a good (and rather patient) person.

I hope it gets resolved soon, but I am very.. disappointed.. in our government's inability to do anything right. Hopefully your MP sorts it out quickly.

From the FB page it seems like Etobicoke take up to two weeks for the landing letter but the interview will be soon after you receive the letter. For example one applicant waited 2 weeks after DM for landing email and the appointment was scheduled for 2 days later.

Everything runs smoothly. the landing interview took about 10-15 min and the officer just asked some simple questions to make sure all the information are correct. After the landing process, I wait about 20 mins to get my SIN. It will take 8-10 weeks to receive PR card. At the same day, I also went to Service Ontario to apply the OHIP. Everything is done, just wait for PR and OHIP card. Good Luck to everyone!

like "What's your first time arrive in Canada?" "Do you have any Criminal Record?" "Do you want to continue to sponsor your spouse?" "Do you have any dependents" and some basic questions to double check with us.
The Officer is very nice and polite, even joke with you a little bit. Just take easy.

Today we have officially landed in Halifax We were told 6 - 8 weeks for the PR Card and Were able to get the new Sin number right away.

Easy Process, asked the special questions and our officer was very kind and answered any questions we had. It was the best experience with immigration so far.

So we're good now We're all happy and having celebratory Pizza and Wine !

For the interview, they would only request the applicant's photos, that means they do not require the photos of sponsor, right?

hello everyone! how long would it normally take to see on Ecas that your medical has been rec? i had my med done last april 9 but it doesn't say that it has been received and also i did send my medical receipt to them and sent an email too. thanks in advance!
