No word on landing date for us yet. We paid the PR fee and emailed the receipt on Friday, so I'm hoping to hear something within the next week or so.

By the way, I never saw a pre-landing form to fill out...the only thing we had to make sure was filled out was the receipt to send in. What exactly is this pre-landing form that you guys have been talking about? Just curious so I can keep an eye out for it.

I already paid the PR fee too I paid it since the day I filed my application send them a copy of the receipt last feb. 3, 2015 then teceived the DM on the 15th then no landing interview yet , i dont have the pre-landing form also. Im just waiting for a call or email. It's crazy.

Afin de pouvoir vous convoquer à l’entrevue d’octroi de la résidence permanente, vous devez préalablement nous faire parvenir des photos qui répondent aux critères décrits sur le document : Directives pour les photos et vérifier l’exactitude des renseignements indiqués sur votre confirmation de résidence permanente.

Veuillez s’il vous plaît suivre les directives et nous faire parvenir les documents par retour de courriel dans les 5 jours suivants sa réception (veuillez noter que les photos devront être amenées lors du rendez-vous).

No landing interview schedule or pre-landing form for me either.

Do you think that they are asking for photos to everybody ? I saw on my GCMS note written "Passport photos: on file- R72"

I was wondering when a good time is to order GCMS notes and how do you do it? I haven't received AIP or even SA yet, but I did get my OWP which was attached to my application. Does CIC only add to GCMS notes when they open your file for SA/AIP?

Hey fellow inlanders. After more than 23 months without so much as AIP, and 3 local office transfers, we finally got notice from Winnipeg that they require a bit more current proof of co-habitation. They didn't ask for proof of relationship and it looks like they won't be calling us for an interview. They said we have 15 days to provide the info or a decision will be made without it. I'm hoping that means that we'll hear something soon.

Upon the advice of some other inlanders, we gathered all the info, completed my husband's medical and paid the right of permanent residence fee and attached all proof. We're hoping this means our AIP will be followed by DM shortly.

Here's to finally seeing some light at the end of a nearly 2 year tunnel.

Hey, I m 5th, step 2013. AIP 30th,2015. If u have an address in USA. Use it for our correspondance. It s my preference to send in same time to FBI and Inquiries FBI channel.expensive but we haven t choice.

What kind of photos are they asking? Is there a english translation, i dont get ehy tgey have to ask fot photos documents ? If we will bring all rhe documents i really dont it

We did send the passport photos for the PR with our appication 18 months ago but now they need the new one (the photos can bring during the interview). If you will get the interview date directly, you are lucky enough since I saw already 4 applicants in Montreal who recently receive the request to fill up the pre-landing file

Sorry i really didn't get this what are the photos are they asking for is it an ID picture or like a scan of documents? Or what cause it's really bothering me should i scan all the documents receipts and ID picture and send it to their email??? Pls enlighten me Thanks

From what I can tell, you do need to have a copy of your receipt when you land, and from what I can tell (french to english can be confusing sometimes) it seems that there may have been another document attached asking for confirmation of their address and other personal info. The photos are brought with you to the landing appointment and are used for your PR card (I think). I'm probably just going to wait a few more days and see if anything is sent to us about all this pre-landing stuff, if not maybe we really don't need it. For all I know, our lawyer received the email and sent off what was needed and didn't even tell us. I'm so ready for all this confusing mess to be done with, lol.

It's 2. One to attach to COPR and the other to send for PR card.
