The risk would seem to be the same:

Thank you tilikun. Am gonna have my photo taken in canada place as hankbuster suggested. Also, do we have to bring all the visas (owp and visitor) both are still valid, with me? It didnt mention but i read before that these should be brought?
Thanks shyla36 , I took my work permit and other documents , but the officer didn't ask for any of them ,not even the $1040 receipt , so just to play safe it is a good idea the take all your documents just in case , good luck !

Hi, is anyone here applying the program with a dependent child/children outside Canada like your dependent child is in the Philippines? I just wanted to ask few questions if you guys don't mind.

Thank you

I am a Nov 27 2013 applicant. I have not sent my open work permit application along with my Inland application.
If i want to apply for an open work permit in the new pilot program i need to follow certain steps.

What i don`t understand is that if i sent IMM570E form to CPC Vegreville Do I need to send the open work permit application with this form to the same address ?

Can anyonce would make it clear for me :-) Thanks,

If you did your medicals in Aug 2013, they expired in Aug 2014. Which means that CIC can and has asked you to redo your medical. If you do not comply in the 30 day time frame they will likely deny your visa and close your application.

Guys please if anyone can help me please do. Here is my problem. I got an email from Manila Embassy for my dependent child Visa Application,with an attachment;
Heres what it is...

CHECKLIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR DEPENDENT CHILDREN OUTSIDE CANADA.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS. Must be completed or provided by: ( in that column it says,You (and your siblings, if applicable)
And then they are sending me the forms like;
I-)1MM 008
2.) IMM008 DEP
3.) IMM5669
4.) IMM5406
With a note: If you are less than 18 years of age, one of your parents or legal guardian may fill out the forms on your behalf.
Now my questions are;
Should I fill out the forms same as I filled out when I was doing all my application forms back on August 2013? Or its all about my dependent information. I'm so confused. I can't think the right thing to do. Please do help me.
Thanks guys.

Hi! I think they are asking you for the updated forms....might as well provide every forms they are asking to avoid any delays...hope this helps :)

So maybe I should just fill out the forms same as how I filled out all these forms before?

Yes...same information

Okay thanks guys

That's aweful! CIC is so inconsistent with everything...they are asking some to redo medicals and are extending others. I'm a July 29th applicant and we did our medical in July 2013 which are very expired now. The point of upfront was the hope that we would receive AIP and DM at the same time...regretting even doing anything upfront because now I feel like our application is deep down in a pile sitting and I fear they will do the same thing they did to u. soo over this process.
on the bright side..maybe once you send the medical you will receive DM shortly afterward as your file will be "relevant" again...ugh! ???

Guys, I'm divorced in Canada and married to Canadian now but in the Philippines my annulment is still not finalized. Now Manila Embassy is asking for proof of identity like original birth certificate and original certificate of no records of marriage. But my record in the Philippines is not annulled yet. Do you think it's gonna affect my application? What should I do?
