Hi there! Yes we are! Specifically we're in Aylmer, which is nice because I can either drive a bit and get to main Gatineau area, or drive a bit and get to Ottawa. ;D Good to know there are a couple of us around the same area!

Here we go post-kt and Daizey, we're a small group representing the CIC sponsorship suffering people in Gatineau
Landing in Ottawa would be more than perfect but I'm not sure it is possible. As we know...Quebec is almost another country inside Canada full of its own rules So I do not think they could send us to landing in Ottawa. By the way, I saw some immigration office close Museum of Civilization, maybe we are going there to landing.
The first one of us landing share the experience, right?

I apologize to everyone in advance (including you harmin) for posting an nonconstructive message here, but it just brings a lot of people down when one starts to say things like "having a bad feeling about this" and "I'm very sure [this or that] is the case" because "my guess has been correct all along". It is quite annoying.

Again, I'm apologize to you and everybody, I don't know any of the others personally, so maybe I'm wrong and this only annoys me.

I'm sorry you feel that way but we're all in this together and everyone here just wants to help each other out in any possible way..
Also, this is the only "venting hole" for all of us to vent, to say "annoying" stuffs or non-constructive opinions..
But hey, to each its own, whatever floats your boat, bla bla bla
If you do get annoyed by the "annoying" messages or negative opinions by anyone, you can choose not to read it or simply by just taking with with a pinch of salt..
Like you said, you dont know any one here personally so you will never understand what people are thinking or going through..
I hope you can understand and don't be annoyed alright?

I received my DM on February 23rd. & will be landing in Halifax


And I received my work permit in the mail today. They sent it of on Sunday/Monday so it took them less than a week from AB to NS.

Ponga ..i have really bad feeling about this files transfer because i am very sure now CPC-V dealing with until June files only and application received from July to till today they already transfer to CPC-M without sending us any notification letters .That's is the main reason they stuck on 25th June application from past 2 weeks because CPC-M Not start processing our file yet and According to my guess they r just busy to put our files in queue according to application received dates ..i have strong feeling they not gonna start processing at least one more week or plus ... :'( :'( :'( :'(

Nop, i want to think that they're done dealing with the transfer as of today , and that on Monday we ll start to see good news floating around on this forum again ! Tuesday wouldn't be so bad either

GUYS.. I just checked my mail box and I got my OWP I have it in hand! Valid for one year..

On Monday I'll apply for a Temporary SIN and I'll be ready to go !!!

This is so exciting, a week ago I was in the middle of nowhere and now I feel how my path in life is coming together!
