It will be 9 months wait for us in one week from today. We leave for a trip to Toronto tomorrow, I was really hoping to hear something before we left. If there is still no news by the time we are back, then we will certainly be making some phone calls to enquire about our case. So frustrating...

I am a July applicant and my husband made a call to CIC yesterday. He got the usual call back in two weeks we are working on your application currently line. He also got the impression from the guy, that all of his responses were scripted. All we can do now is sit put and wait for CPC-M to start working whenever they do, continually praying. God be with us all!

so you were saying, you went to the USA? Are you a USA citizen? or have a green card or something?
Hubby and I will love to get a weekend in Vermont once I get COPR or PR card.. but im not from a visa waiver country and I dont hold a USA visa.. anyone knows if a Canadian PR is allowed to go to USA for turism a couple of days?

U need usa tourist visa to enter usa u cannot enter

On copr or pr card n yea if u have usa visa u can come

Back n forth from usa to canada on ur copr u dnt hav to

You get 10 year multiple visa n they give you 6 month

Multiple entry at border you can come back n forth for 6 month

I dnt link i got my usa visa application done from my counsltant

Who applied for my pr he just took 70 dollars n its 160 i guess for make appointment

In your appointment they will say if they give you or not a visa. If they give you, they will take your passport then they will send it the courier near your location then you have to pick it up its more or less 2 weeks after your interview. The visa is valid for 10 years.

Today we had our interview and received our COPR. This has been the longest year of my life (as well as the most forceful sabbatical I had to take). The interview wasn't exciting at all (all the very few usual questions), and it now feels more like a stroke of anti-climactic closure. I am, however, happy that I can finally move on with my life plans.

Hey friends

I finally landed today in vancouver i was pretty easy

It just took less thn 5 mins for interview but waiting for

Ur name called by officer was really long our interview was

At 1 and my name was called by visa officer at 3:30

Anyways the wait didnt bothered me .

And i went to usa tday with my copr document

N there was no problem no one asked me anything

On top wen i gave my passport to officer on canadian border

She looked at my copr congratulated me on becoming pr

So if u going across border in ur private vehice u dont need pr card

Copr is enough

Thanx seniors n everyone you guys have been lot of help

In this journey i didnt post too much but i was always on this forum

I am still waiting on the Vancouver office about landing. Has anyone who got DM in March still waiting to land in Vancouver or is it just me?

I called a few weeks ago and they hadn't sent me a landing letter, looks like some people are hearing though about landing in Van even when they got DM after me.

Than you frenchwapiti as of now it doesn't matter as long as money is coming in I got a job offer to work with autistic kids so far and I'm taking it for now.....when did u apply for urs

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all are keeping it up with this long and stressful process. I've got a question for those who have already recd their AIPs. My wife recd AIP after long time and the letter asks her send in her medical along with a copy of valid travel document/passport. The AIP letter was dated feb 3rd. We already sent in her medical and cic has already received it. When she did her medical, the physician panel asked her for a copy of id/document which she used to come into canada. She gave them her u.s Green card which she used to cross the canadian border. So that being said, do we have to send it again? or was it the one cic was asking for on the AIP letter? Could any one please shed some light on here? would be very much appreciated. bless us al/
