I have a long history with study permit, PGWP, work permit, implied status...
I was on study permit --> PGWP (3 years) --> implied status waiting for work permit (didn't leave country and continued working until work permit was approved) ~ about 3 months --> work permit (2 years) --> applied for PR under family class sponsorship --> work permit expired, didn't leave country and continued working under implied status until now
BTW, I got my OWP in the mail today.. I was approved Jan 21.. so took 5 business days to arrive. it is valid for 1 year
I'm hoping I get a letter from Vancouver office for the landing date soon
