I think if you got AIP already, you already passed the crucial part... the first stage is the most crucial one because that is when they check if the marriage or relationship is genuine... As for me, my husband and I had an interview at the Edmonton office last Sept. then after a month we got approved...so aip and owp granted. It is really up to you if you want to apply for an OWP. When we submitted our application in 2009, we included an OWP application, so when we got approved I was granted the owp as well. (although I am working already before I had the OWP.)sunshine11 said:Thanks a lot for your reply charmainefrances and Mimence777
I received AIP after 11 months
Can I ask you one question, after AIP received any chance for interview??
What they normally do in second stage??
Do you think I have to apply for open work permit (I am house wife)?
I tried to apply online but it's really confusing (too many question)
If you applied for work permit plz help me
