Just got an email from CIC with my PR DM! 6 days after AIP!!! Definitely making some movement in Vegreville now! Haven't received any of the letter docments yet, but right now I am so excited that I don't care. Whooo!!!

Congrats on getting your DM. Where are you landing? I assume Calgary based on it being closer to you than edmonton. I have updated your status on timesheet.

Yeah. It'll be Calgary. Do they send out a landing date letter or email usually? I should know by now from reading the forum but I've completely blanked in my excitement.

Ok guys, I need a quick answer if anyone has one. I just got my new passport in the mail with my updated married name. Who do I send that information too? Can I scan a copy and email it to them with the proper UCI numbers and such? I would like to ensure it gets updated properly in their system, HOPEFULLY before they get to my application LOL

If you have submitted an application you need to wait until you have a file number. The odds of them linking it up otherwise are not good. I would also recommend ordering GCMS case notes 30 days after submitting it to ensure it was added to your file.

What are these GCMS case notes?can anyone get them?ate they worth getting?easy or hard to get them?

My application was submitted dec/12, Computergeek. I have both my UCI and my hubbys UCI. I just now got it changed over and back in the mail because we wanted to reflect my married name on my landing documents and my PR card without a huge hassle later on. Wish I had done it before sending in my application, but can't change that. So, any ideas, whom I can send the information to? LOL

Officially 8 months today for my second stage and still noting , this so frustrating . Arghhhhhhhhh

Give CIC a call, they can look into it further if it is past the estimated time online.

GRats to all the AIPs and DMs. I am hoping we follow suit. Really odd to me that there seems to be nothing going on with my App, given they are now officially into Dec apps.

Tell me about it!!...I haven't heard anything either, called cic and they said my application is going to take longer than the given time since they had to request additional documents!!......I also reckon it depends on the officer handling your file!!... I read a February applicant received AIP the other day!!!!

I think you should call the call center. Months ago, my husband changed his job and phone number. I called the call center and the agent changed his phone number over our phone conversation. But she told me to inform CIC in writing for his job change. So I sent a letter to the visa office where I sent my application to. Hope this help :)

Work permit came in the mail today. :-)
