Does ecas usually show if police certificate is received? it only shows medical received on mine and doesnt show that they requested fingerprints

Sorry I landed at Vancouver office in last wedsday but I was so busy at work, so I couldnt write here. It went through very fast, just abt 20 mins. I was scheduled at 9am but we came there a bit eary at 8am, was being called by a friendly men. He asked 3 usual questions and we finished before 9.
Finally im done. I just want to say thank you to everyone in this forum for helping me alot! I wont forget this moment.
By the way, I have a question. Can I use COPR to apply for US cuz I just want to cross the boder and shopping as holiday season is coming

Just have a question.. from what I've seen on this thread, seems like everyone that has AIP has been getting DM on the same day. does that mean 2nd stage is also approved on the same day?
so the actual wait time for 2nd stage approval is not as long as we should be anticipating?

Congrats! If you're travelling by car to the states you can use COPR but if you're using commercial vehicle like plane bus boat etc you need PR card. Mine arrived after 69 days from landing. Happy thanksgiving!

not every one is as lucky. Yes if you get AIP and DM
on the same day it means your second stage
is completed. DM means a final decision has been made on your
application. All that's left to wait for in those cases is a letter from your
local CIC office giving you a landing date.

ah, such a long time since i went on the forum. Hope everyone is doing well 
. I am still waiting for my PR card patiently..i landed at the end of August so I'm really hoping i will receive the card sometimes in early November!

I am the very first name on the 2013 list and I finally received my AIP on september 25th. I was out of the country on vacation at the time so I haven't had a chance to update yet. I also received my PR letter and We have our interview on October 24th.
It was a painfully long wait and im happy to finally be able to move on with life here.
This forum has been very helpful to us and I wish everyone the best of luck.
