I got my DM through a couple of days ago but on ECAS is still says "In Process".

This is normal right? They are just slow on updating, or will it say "In Process" until I get my landing interview?

They are just slow in updating. You are suppose to get Decision Made on your Ecas status.

When you land, the website will update to say "Completed". Click on Completed and it will say you have landed at "Local CIC City" on "Day of you landed"

I am just the messenger. I am only relaying info I have experience in. I don't post stuff I know nothing about.

Screech for somebody who might want to take a job, let's say lucky enought to have Lmo, does this mean that I should be on status ( i am on implied status now but my visitor entry expires 2nd week of october). I am thinking of extending my stay as a visitor for this purpose. Just so i have my options open just in case, i decide later to look for a job altho i know that its hard to get a job with lmo. Rather than finding out later that it is actually needed then will need to restore and extend which is $200 dollars more vs the $75. Im from the inland 2013 thread -:) thanks. Just thought Id ask you as you are the senior in this forum. Thanks a bunch :)

still waiting for the landing appointment with Yellowknife office
Haven't heard anything since DM a month ago.

When your visitor visa expires, you will then be on "visitor implied status". If you were lucky to get a job offer through LMO then you would have to change your status to a work visa and spend the required money. You don't have to extend your visitor stay but that part is up to you. I think it is a waste of money to extend visitor visa since you are on it anyway. It only give you a piece of mind like with me. I extended my wife's visa for the sake of piece of mind knowing she has legal status during the process.

Knowing how hard it is to get an job through LMO, you might as well apply for OWP.

That's my thought.

CIC said CPC-V was excluded from the taking strike action. But at the same time, there was a rumor that officers of CPC-V were helping the process of outland. I don't know whether this is true. Anyway, this is a good news. I hope that the processing of our applications will speed up! :D

I have a question!

- We only paid half of the immigration fee and decided to wait and pay the other half later - when would it be ideal to pay it, or shall we just wait until they contact us about it?
