yay congrats to you!!!

I was talking to my friend who is going through PNP. They redid medicals as they had expired and now CIC have lost 3 of 4. Done at the same time, same dr. These are the new electronic forms and due to privacy laws they can not be resent. They got shuffled when buffalo closed and now this.

I guess at least it's not just family class dealing the mindlessness of proceedings.

I'm rather confused as to why they'd issue AIP and then transfer the file to.two offices without a decision. Am I wrong to assume that files are only transferred without a decision prior to AIP? Isn't a lack of proof and believability of relationship issue reasons for transfer before AIP?

IP 2 lists the following as the responsibilities of local offices for inland sponsorship applications:

• investigate criminal eligibility issues related to applicants under the spouses and common-law
partners in Canada class and applicants applying under humanitarian and compassionate
provisions*;

• investigate criminal eligibility issues or other sponsorship details*;

• initiate interviews with sponsors and applicants, when necessary;

• determine applicants’ eligibility once investigation is complete and grant or refuse permanent residence in accordance with delegated authority;

• complete the processing of all applications received directly from applicants or via CPC-V under the Spouse or common-law partner in Canada class or humanitarian and
compassionate provisions.

This can be done at any point in the process, both before and after AIP. Have you ordered electronic case notes? It should say why they transferred your file.

Thanks CG I wasn't referring to my case for as much as I can say is that my case is still in Vegreville. I was seeking clarification on hazard's file transfer. I hope Hazard see the response

I would also like to know the answer to this as sometime in the future I will be landing in Edmonton as well.

It's been 10 days for cic to change to oct 12.

Is there anybody who get AIP for this 10 days of Oct 8~12 applicants?

The process for step 1 seems like stopped. >:(

And also is there anybody who are requested for additional documents of Oct 13 ~ Nov applicants?

I hope I don't need documents at the point of waiting 9 month..

@canham2012,

Congrats on landing Friday past. Your wait is finally over. Let us know when you received your PR card. All the best.

Timesheets are all updated.

Do cic call centre agents give conflicting reports or information. Friday I called and one gentleman told me my file is being transferred to etobicoke . This morning a young lady told me my daughter's medical is still in progress.
