We have the same timeline. I was planning to call CIC today but I couldn't bother to wait almost an hour to speak to an agent to get the same dumb response

I don't get why there are so many DM's happening, but no AIP's. Very confusing, as I think the process would be, finish up the DM's then proceed to completing stage 1 for people..

Or is it they are finishing up DM's then move onto completing more DM's and then once those are finished THEN they get to people in Stage 1 and go through that process.

If as a sponsor you become pregnant while waiting for hubbies PR do you need to let CIC know?

if its between u and ur husband who is the applicant i think ur husband shud send it ur pregnncy details to cic especially if it is the first child together. it kind od solidifies ur relationship intheir eyes.besides cic website says to notify them if ur expecting or if their is d birth of a child or chnge in relation and pregnancy is a huge change. just get a letter fr ur doctor with the due date etc.

I am currently waiting for a landing letter from a local office after getting my DM, and I have a question.

Can CIC call centre agents tell when my landing date would be as soon as it has been scheduled by a local office, even before I receive a landing letter?

I've been calling call centre agents to ask whether my landing date has been set or not, but is there any point for calling them?

If anyone knows the answer, please let me know

Scarborough Office. Got my DM on June 19th and still waiting for a landing letter. I did pay all the fees when I initially sent my application.

oh cic scarborough is so slow i got decision made on April 15th, and then i received my landing letter on May 27th for an interview of June 20th
You should be getting the landing letter soon. its a waiting game with them.

Now i'm waiting for PR card to come and they are now taking 70 days to process So i'm looking at Mid September to receive my PR card.

I just called the Cic this afternoon and he said it would take me a month and half to get my turn (as they are still processing for Oct 8 application received). Probably yours also, or even earlier than mine.

I'm not expecting anything until October. Right now it doesn't matter because I wanted to go home December but it won't be possible anymore

Yeah, most probably because as what I've noticed from the posts here, usually they got their application update after a year from the date of their submission. Anyway, fingers crossed you can go home on December. I also wanna go home, but I don't want my family to be disappointed again. Until Ill get it done, that will be the time ill let everybody know I'm coming home.

It's not going to happen for Christmas because its 4 months to December. II'd hahave to be approved tomorrow and given a landing interview next month and another 60 days for PR card arrival

Oh I see, so PR takes 60 days, you're right you can't, and sorry for that.
I thought its only me getting crazy of my application and cant do anything can't even go home. I'm all cooked waiting.

Couldn't agree with all of you guys more. Something I've noticed about October 2011 applicants is that they were in the same situation last year where they never got their AIP in 6 months but in 10-11 months. I saw that most if not all of October 2011 applicants start receiving AIP between August 22 and 5th of October. This seems to be the trend with CIC around this time. So I guess in 4 weeks time some of us will be hearing from them.

Also I saw some DM came shortly after and some actually got both stages at the same time and by December almost all of October 2011 applicants had their landing interviews. So I am still hopeful that things will be up and running in 4 weeks. Just know that though we don't understand why and frustration engulfs us, God is still on time ..... even after 9 months.

On Sunday I spent some time reading the Inland Applications 2011 forum specifically those who were waiting for their AIP during the summer months (October applicants). I started on page 300 and something I think. The October 2011 applicants who were experiencing this delay had applied between October 16 and October 29 2011. They were so frustrated and even believed that the IOs went on vacation with their kids for the summer. They were giving out only DMs not AIPs. But on August 22 the AIPs started coming in through to the first week of October.

I was looking for a 2011 timeline link but apparently they don't have any. Screech even left a message on their forum on page 546, asking for a link to their timesheet but no one responded so am guessing there isn't one and thats when I began reading their forum dated between May and August to see how the AIP was going.
If you guys visit their forum you would definitely see that only DMs were given out during the summer months. Ohh also the date had stuck in October also haha but not as long as this one. Lets see how things would shape up in the next little while.
