Same here, I m a week and some days away from 9 months waiting. Its so heart wrenching to see yet another week saying October 8th. **rolling eyes** Oh my goodness, I feel like am losing my mind. Maybe I should travel up to Vegreville and pound on the door haha... But seriously I am totally sad.

@goldmoom, totally understandable. Two weeks ago I called
the call centre and I was told two to three weeks more before ill hear
something. How I'm I to even believe a word from them?
Frustration seems to be getting the best of me.

@ jiggy I KNOW!!!!!! Crazy Hun but then again
we pretty much get use to it. If it does change
now that would be a surprise!!
I feel like my life is going by while I just wait in vain.

Here's a graph of the 2012 inland sheet. Being frustrated by the lack of information on the cic processing times page, I try to look at our data for some solace. This shows the number of received applications and those of which received AIP by month (as of now).

We are probably going to give up... My wife must go back to Taiwan in September as my mother in law is going to have a heart surgery and we can't just sit and wait.... Worst case scenario we will apply again... But Outland this time... My friend got his approval after 3.5 months Outland and we applied around the same time.. And my wife still waiting for AIP. Can't believe this is taking so long...

has anyone ordered gcms notes recently to see what is going on coz usually there is a BF(bring forward) date for each file to be reviewed. I don't what they are doing for this long nothing like this has happened in 2010 and 2011. CIC is an official website and they don't even bother changing the processing time when applicants have been waiting for almost 9 months. With this pace i hope to get PR by 2020.

FINALLY .... I got my landing interview in Ottawa scheduled!

YET... the date is totally not suitable as my spouse/sponsor will be out of town..

SO.. Can I reschedule? Is it recommended? Will the rescheduled interview gonna be months later?

AND... what's the phone number of Ottawa landing office?

Thank you

Does anyone have the contact details for
the Minister of Immigration ?
I think I'm going to write him a letter
and deliver it person(assuming) his office is
in the Ottawa area.
It's about time a face is put to the struggles
the delay is causing. I've officially lost track of
the number of weeks it's been since they've been
working on October. I've called my lawyer
to give them a call, maybe he'll get some
sort of information I'm unable to get.
I'm officially one week away from the 9 month wait for stage one.
I know it was going to be a tedious process
If I knew it was going to be 9 months and nothing. I would have gone home and do Outland.
This is just crazy. What's even more unbelievable is
They're telling you on the website if its been
Longer than 6 months, we should call. No one have
any kind of answer or explanation.
Ill have to start calling the office of the Minister of
Immigration.
I'm soo fed up now. Grrrr

We have been waiting forever too.....so I know your feeling. We were close to stage 1 when they all of a sudden wanted one more document...and that pushed us right back to start again in the waiting list. So we are done with our second 6-month waiting now...and we just got news that they will have a decision at august fifth on Stage 1. Ooooooooo Im so nervous now. So close.

Good luck to you guys.

Oh Im so sorry to hear that. That has been the most scary thing for me too. For anything to happen to my family in Sweden, while we wait. Hope hope it works out for you guys.

Jiggy did you ever apply for GCMS notes or is it pointless before AIP?

hi i am just hoping somebody can please guide in the right direction .we applied for spousal sponsorship and just got an interview at my local office which i went alone and they reschedule me coz my wife wasnt able to come and we are not living together for now but we are working things out and we will be living back together anytime so i am not sure how to describe the whole situation in the interview and can it create any problem ?

@Nigea
I heard there's nothing in the notes that would be relevant to me before AIP. When I spoke to the call centre agents,3 of them said that background is active, and iI don't have AIP yet

Not really, damn!
