in the GCMS notes where it records the location of the paper file for you application it says Location: "TRAINING ROOM A"
Does this mean our application was used for training!!!!????

I did it...I hired a lawyer to do this for us. So fed up with paperwork ect some may say I took the easy way. Lawyer is costing us $2000.00...yes it's a lot but it is worth the headache that I have had for months now. Now to decide if this is going to be an INLAND or OUTLAND application. He is with me in BC and has been living here for 13 months on a Visitor Visa...all legal Any thoughts on this?

Where is he from? Some VO works faster than Inland. But, for example, if he is from Pakistan, Inland is better. Please check the Processing Times. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp

Hey guys just an update to our situation: God is soooo good, we're praising his name for the outcome. Our appointment went as well as can be expected! They will be putting the paper work on hold for 60 days, if within that time we get our stage 1 of our sponsorship approved that will keep things on hold to await the outcome of stage 2 of our sponsorship process. If the decision for Stage 1 is not received by the end of the 60days we'll have to go again for another interview at which time he'll be eligible for another process which should give us more time for stage 1 to be approved (stage 1 is expected to be approved by end of June, early July) so with all that said we continue to trust God for his blessing in this situation.

The interview was pretty straightforward. Since I am being sponsored by my wife, we just had to show documents in our names with the same address, and say no to one question ("have you ever been refused to enter canada blabla").
I had to take my passport with me and 2 photos.

My PR card should arrive in 6 to 8 weeks.
