Although I don't think note #2 about your wife being a lawyer who studied in the US had any bearing on the decision. Maybe the fact that she studied in the US might have made criminal check/immigration history easier to check thus faster approval.

If the length of the marriage makes things go faster then ours hopefully will too given my hubby and I have been married for five years,have three children,bought a house together years back,went to college here and have been working for 9 years! ;D-Knock on wood ;D

Haha,am also waiting for my work permit and it's so stressful even though I am busy doing most of those things,my hubby tells me to try and enjoy the time off and my work mates think I shouldn't need another holiday/vacation for a while since I haven't been working for a few months!!-The thing is though, it hasn't been a vacation for me rather a mental anguish :(

They are taking forever for paper applications.I am tired of sitting home all day long Hoping to start work as soon i get work permit. In my online status says "Medical Results have been received".Does anybody know once they updated medicals on ecas is there any chance they can ask to redo the medicals again????

Hopefully they get to ours soon, I know how you feel, I'm starting to get bored sitting around the house too. I've had a lot of time to go to the gym and plan my wedding!! Hope you get news soon :)
 
Checked the mail today and i havent got any mail for landing appointment
