I'm in Calgary. I passed about 30 resumes online now for 2 weeks and still not a single call. Yeah I guess I just have to be patient. Wish the PR card would come soon so I can leave Canada while not working.

I hope my PR comes soon too so I can leave while not working also...I hope it's soon!!

From AIP to decision made is approximately 8 months. I dont what the hell they are checking on people's past that background and security checks take such a damn long time

Congratulations!!!! I am feeling happy . My application was submitted 21 days after yours. So October applicants our files are on the reviewing desk and NicJohn offered to start us off

Awww jiggy, that's crazy, then they speak of how lazy Caribbean people are!!!! Really!!! I have never seen people take so much coffee breaks in my life!! But again that's there system. Bear in mind that its the goodly emigrant build this country. I really want open a can of worms because I'm frustrated with the wait and can work.. Aw well.. Tv and newspaper is my best friend. They are only trying to break us. :'(

Congrats NicJohn! ;D how long did it take for you to get 1st stage approval? Im about to send ours in and Im hoping for a quick response, any tips? Im going to include everything, pics, statements etc in the hope they want ask for anything else and delay the process :-[

Thanks Daisy. I took just over 5 months for me to get AIP. Sent app in October 5, got my letter of acknowledgement on December 12. And AIP today.

I sent everything in, paid all my fees. I was asked to redo a form on Dec 12.

I cant tell you what may or may not delay the process..
