AOR means Acknowledgement of Receipt. That's what you got and that's a good thing! It took me nearly 4 months to get my AOR!

Now you wait for AIP - Approval in Principle - which should take about 6 months, according to the website.

is it 6 months from the date their received it? (the date stated on the AOR?)

Or 6 months from when you receive your AOR?

I believe you can start counting from the date they receive your application. That is how it worked for us anyway. When we received AIP it was approx 7 months from the date the appication was received, which was the timeline on CIC's website at the time.

Just curious is everyone else getting adds on this website as well, I have been noticing that certain words are hyper linked and when my mouse rolls over them a clickable add pops up. Just wondering if maybe this is part of the forum now or if I maybe need to get better virus scanning software?

I'm using google chrome and have zero ads, its definitely not with the website, its with your explorer or spyware programs on your computer.

Hello all! I just added myself to the forum. Can somebody add me to the spreadsheet?

Application received on June 6 2012. No AOR email received. AIP received November 28 2012. Medicals sent December 21 2012 and received January 7 2013. Police certificates sent with application on June 6 2012.
