I have a question somebody here may help..
I'm thinking to apply for Online courses. They give you a certificate after completing 3-4 months course.
A person outside Canada even may be admitted.
Am I eligible for that? I think yes.

Yes, you don't need a student visa if the course is less than 6 months in duration

Another week is passing by
Hope everyone get some good news soon!

I submitted owp after I got AIP approval.
it's been about a month and half so I called cic.
Gentleman told me my case was assigned to some officer for further assessment on end of Oct.
As I see the time sheet, other fellas get owp within a month or two.
I guess i can do nothing but waiting, just like I did for last year and half. :)

I just want to hear some experience on owp. do you get approval email first?
how long does it take to be issued and mailed to me?
With owp, can i just go and get the temp sin number?

Waiting is boring and i really got to work. I actually dreamt about getting the paper.
It will be awesome to hold the paper on my hand :)

Good luck to you fellas

Thanks for the feedback. I use the date OWP arrive in mail as the trigger as you cannot get temp SIN until you have it in your hand. Email OWP approvals are not accepted forms to apply for SIN.

Hi Victorswife!
It's Credit Institute of Canada. It helps if your work is related with Credit and Collections.
That's just what I used to do for a living back in my country.
I'm interested in Basic course for now just to know Canadian specifics. Not sure if i wanna pay though....

Congrats to Alexandrushka on landing today and becoming PR.
