Hello everyone. My husband received an email an hour ago stating that he was approved as a sponsor, but I didn't get an AIP email. However, five minutes ago I received a DM email! ;D

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CIC has been pretty inconsistent, it seems, in getting their AIP emails out. Frustrating, but I'm sure getting DM helped make it a bit less frustrating.

I think that will be a fantastic surprise for him! Congrats, btw! I am getting quite antsy now as I am just a couple days out from you, but we both have the same "in process" day of Jan 21.

Dec 3 applicant got its AIP on Oct 21
Now Dec 4 applicant got its AIP on Oct 23

I sent it Dec 5 & AOR Jan 22! Its coming, I can feel it!

Happy to hear that. DM is better than getting an AIP letter. Congrats. Ibhave updated your status on timesheet.

Just got an email from CIC,no AIP for me ...rather,they transferred my file to winnipeg for further review!!!! ....am not going to lie,am heart broken!!!!...now all I can do is wait,not sure how long it's going to take!!!...will let you all know when it's done!!!...Good luck everyone!!!

Rambo - I am sorry to hear this. That probably means you will have an interview scheduled. You should order your GCMS notes to see what's up.

That gotta suck. It appears that you may have an interview on your genuinity of your marriage/common law. Once they verify it, you will get AIP after. Hang in there. You got lots of support and resources to help you get through it.

Thanks,I really don't mind an interview at all,I just hope it wouldn't take another six years like it did with my refugee case!!

The only thing I can think of is because I couldn't provide a divorce certificate that they requested!!!....I was never legally married to my ex so I just wrote them an explanation letter,I guess I'll know more when I order my notes!!!
