THANK you so much!!!! Your words comfort me a lot! U know, i'm really more scared, anxious than happy when i read the letter, and the worst thing is, they never put in a hotline just in case sth. really mess up.

SO, i will now focus on preparing the necessary documents and hope for a smooth interview.

i know i shouldnt panic, but i dunno why i just feel so weird now.

it's 15 August, 2013 (Thursday). I asked around and ppl said in their letters, it's stated that the Sponsor had to attend.. but i look through mine again and again , yet cant find anything like that.. so this makes me feeling insecure....

I got the same letter today. They didn't say anything about my sponsor has to be there but my hubby will be there anyway. By the way we got the same day of landing interview

thanks for adding me, here are the detailed infos of my application,
november 29,2012, application received, AOR- january 28,2013.
my application is sent at vegreville, and im currently residing in mississauga, and my country of origin is philippines.
ive got all my medical police clearance sent together with my application papers.

actually i still have my work permit for now, but it is going to expire, can i apply for an OWP before it expires or i will just wait for cic's decision? who are allowed to apply for OWP? i would appreciate it most if you can help me clarify this issues.

I don't see any harm in renewing your OWP. However I believe, assuming you had OWP prior to applying for PR sponsorship, you would be under implied status with your OWP. Thus you should not need to renew your OWP since you are stuck in "work visa" under futher notice.

Still waiting on Vancouver. I applied for Foss notes yesterday. I hope I get a decision made soon. I am still confused why Vancouver did not make a decision after AIP was granted. Hope my application is transferred to Toronto soon. I am so confused

Just a point of clarification: the organization of the list by geographical location is based upon the assumption that people want to use a PP close to their location. Note that you may have the immigration examination done by any designated panel physician anywhere in the world. They are not geographically limited to whom they may serve as the process for examination and evaluation is uniform around the world.

my case got refuge in march 2013 at last stage after submitting medical and landing fees
then I went for judicial appeal and on 1st week july I got settlement offer from department of justice , so they error of law has been made
so I accepted their offer and my case going back to new visa officer for redetermination
could you plz how long it take from here on
all kind of police clearance was done on my file
I have my submit my new medical and landing fees also
I lost my 15 points but after acceptance with federal court , I got my 15 point back so my point score reached on 80 now
plz do reply how long Ottawa will now , as I have job offer I m loosing salary every month
I have filed my case in dec 2009 and oct 2011 I got request to submit medical and landing fees also

I just came off the phone with the MP and was told that they received an update on my file yesterday. In the update it said that they are dealing with October applicants now and that my file would be processed four months from now and to contact CIC about my file after 4 months.

So I guess I'll receive something in November OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sad

I got to say getting a DM without having a medical test done/submitted is very very unusual. Unless I am wrong, I don't think anyone has ever gotten a PR without getting a medical check done. Getting a DM before medical test is done doesn't sound good to me.
