I received our landing appt for THIS Saturday in Scarborough (same as silveroaks). Has anyone on this forum tried to reschedule their landing appt? If it comes down to it, we'll bite the big financial bullet of some plans we have (non-refundable trip plan w/i Canada for the weekend) but I'm fine with waiting another month if we're able to reschedule.

That's great. However it is not so great if it ever interfere with vacation plans. We are hoping that our landing appointment would fall short of our trip to nfld this summer in July. However if it came to and it fell within our vacation trip I would call CIC to explain why we need an reschedule. Perhaps they may reschedule it sooner or shortly after trip. I believe gjfst managed to speed up the appointment date to before the trip after he/she provided proof of trip planned. If we are unsuccessful in getting an early appointment, I would rather delay the appointment than to bite the bullet. The trip is very expensive and very costly to reschedule trip.

Hey Congrats to everyone who got there AIP's, DM's, landing dates or what ever it may be. Iv been away for a few days and just thought I should stop in to see how everyone is doing. We have not received our landing letter yet. I am expecting it to come sometime this week. I hope everyone is doing well.

Permanent Residence

Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on ... application. The office will contact ... concerning this decision.


What does this mean exactly?
Immigration has his original passport, what to do?
I'm so scattered.

It appears that you received an AIP and DM at same time. Congrats. Let us know when you get an official email from them so we know what is the date issued.

BTW. May I ask what country you are coming from?

Hi yes , contact your local CIC or call the call centre. i had to talk to them and they were flexible. (i Just walked into the local office, you suppose to get an appointment but i didn't and they still talked to me)

it doesn't matter. both are fine, if they're typed just make sure they sign it .

So I called CIC last Thursday to ask about the delay in Vancouver for the interview and a short answered guy said "3 months" if I didn't get the letter before July 16th I have to call again, I hope that's not the case :-\ lol oh well wait a bit longer I guess
