It is so confusing , I mean some people received DM by mail or email or just ECAS first.. Dont know what to wait for.. As there is no standard pattern CIC follows ..

CIC Vegreville issues DM by emails as far as I'm concerned. Sometimes Ecas get updated before they get email DM notifications. Most people will get email not long after ecas is updated with DM if they haven't received email yet.

CIC vegreville informed me that everyone gets email notifications unless they are applying from quebec. They will get snail mail notifications.

I got the DM on April 3rd. So that's less than two weeks ago. Your's won't be far away, and the appointment will be scheduled depending on how busy the office you got assigned to, is. It seems that Edmonton is not doing too bad!!

Hello Everyone! I am so excited. We're done! Just picked up the snail mail and our dm letter was in there rather than email! Our landing interview is in Calgary on June 27.

There are still some people reporting that they are receiving DM by Snail Mail.

Omg omg!! I got it just like 15 min ago I got the email finally!! I'm sooo happy want to cry or laugh or both!!! And I'm a work can't hug my lovey yet and celebrate!! DM has been issues Vancouver office will contact me, same email letter like somebody posted here I believe 2 days ago.

That was also my thought, just not sure if the officers still have the choice when and email is provided. I don't generally trust anything CIC call center tells me. I wonder if RR VDB provided there email?
