Calgary

Well I will just post mine from several angles. Google doesn't actually have a picture of just it so I had to get creative and use Google maps and just a picture of Downtown to show. Hope you don't mind Lol. Bare with me. Come on everyone join in if you want.

My local CIC office is: St. John's

I think it looks really cool. Plus I am excited to go there just because I love any excuse to go downtown. I just love the history and culture there. And now I will have an even greater connection with it. :)

Aww don't worry about it. I was just saying it for future reference. Your local office is big. It looks so neat though. The structure of it and all.

Anyone else think that the hotline hold music is lame and creepy? They've had that same music for a few years now. Time for new music!

I just find it boring and somewhat creepy. It used to make me nervous especially if I was put on hold and was waiting to find out the decision of an extension or AIP.

they should put some nice music from the '80 s like "the final countdown" or "take on me" from the a-ha ;D ;D ;D
well I'm 37 years old so i was a teenager in the 80 s

Take on me would be amazing. I love that song. Id be jammin on the phone and then the agent "Hello bonjour this is Sally, how may I help you!" and then I forget why I called. ???

and " Go west" from the Pet shop boys....? ;D ahahah interesting as an immigration song

Yeah but then it also stinks when a hotline plays too good of music while your on hold too because then you get upset when they cut it off at your favorite part. Has happened to me plenty of times before. I will get caught up in it and then they interrupt it. I don't yell at them but then I am thinking, "Couldn't you have waited 1 minute longer until my favorite part was over. Ugh..." Lol. :P

I dislike calling up the hotline so much though. There are those people when they pick up they just seem like robots and really hate their job. Where as today I got this really nice woman and we were laughing on the phone and she seemed like she cared about me. I dislike how it's just a roll of the dice on who you get. I want to call up and be like "Yeah, can I get the nice lady who I talked to a few days ago please?"

I so agree on that! My rule of thumb: if you can hum/whistle along with the music, it means you've called way too often for it to be 'healthy'. I got the same with Bell. Luckily we don't use cable television, otherwise I think I could add Videotron.

Some 80's/90's would be really nice, but very unlikely. This music is probably specially composed for phone use, so no copyright. All the regular music is copyrighted, so they would need to pay fortunes in royalties to broadcast the music to everyone calling in.
